Rancher on a horse in a grassy field with the words Reducing Predator Conflicts for Producers

Colorado has always had predators on the landscape. With the reintroduction of gray wolves in 2023, and the natural migration of wolves from other states, Colorado’s livestock producers are adapting to protect their livestock as we work toward greater coexistence with carnivores.

CDA’s goal over the next year is to establish a Non-lethal Predator Conflict Reduction Program which will provide critical resources and technical assistance to farmers and ranchers across the state through education on non-lethal deterrent methods, equipment, and other resources.
