If you plan on buying or selling hay this growing season, add your listing to the 2025 Colorado Hay Directory. The annual publication helps connect hay producers with buyers across the state.
“The Hay Directory connects hay producers with a broad network of buyers, simplifying the process of sourcing and selling quality hay,” said Danielle Trotta, senior marketing specialist for the Colorado Department of Agriculture. “The directory helps hay producers reach new customers, and provides buyers with a diverse selection of hay options, fostering connections within the agricultural community.”
The Hay Directory listing fee is $25, and the deadline is July 15, 2025. The listing form is available at ag.colorado.gov/markets.
The directory will be available mid-August, through CSU Extension offices, various horse and livestock associations in the state, and at agricultural events.
Each listing includes the type and amount of hay available, bale type and size, whether laboratory analysis is available, certified weed free status and identifies organic hay. Listings are grouped by region of the state. The directory also includes listings for companies that offer hay-related products or services. Advertising opportunities are also available at $50 for a half-page ad or $90 for a full-page ad.
