The Colorado Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce the selection of Southern Colorado-based AdPro 360 as the new marketing firm for the Colorado State Fair 2021 season. Contracting with the firm is a key action item in executing on the State Fair’s strategic goal of creating a dynamic, comprehensive marketing and outreach plan to elevate the State Fair across Colorado.
“The Colorado State Fair needs a strong, savvy marketing partner to work alongside our leadership in order to bring our goals to fruition,” said Rene Brown, Chair of the State Fair Board of Authority. “I’m excited that we have found that partner in AdPro 360.”
“Our search for a high-quality, high-value marketing firm was extensive, and AdPro 360 clearly provided the vision and clear tactics we are seeking to expand engagement with the State Fair across Colorado,” said State Fair General Manager Scott Stoller.
AdPro 360’s bold objectives include increasing the number of State Fair attendees, growing statewide awareness of the State Fair by targeting each region of the state, building awareness by targeting metropolitan areas with an emphasis on agricultural education, boosting mid-week attendance, growing revenue and helping ensure State Fair visitors leave with a heightened understanding of Colorado’s agricultural industry, its breadth, and its economic impact.
“Our priorities at the Department of Agriculture include strengthening, advancing, and increasing public awareness of Colorado agriculture,” said Kate Greenberg, Commissioner of Agriculture. “AdPro 360 shares this priority and brings a passion for the work and mission of the State Fair and its unique ability to bring people from across the state together in celebration of agriculture.”
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with the Department of Agriculture and Colorado State Fair teams to get the word out about this treasured event,” said Camille Blakely, President of AdPro 360. “We’re developing a strategy to reach Coloradans all over the state to invite them to celebrate and reconnect with friends and family at the State Fair this summer. We’re honored to be a part of the team.”
The Colorado State Fair was one of only a few State Fairs nationwide to hold an event last summer. Through careful planning and partnership with local and state public health agencies, Colorado’s 4-H and FFA youth were able to participate in person with their 2020 animal projects. A host of innovative virtual events and activities were created, drawing statewide participation and interest from Colorado and national media. The 2021 State Fair, planned for August 27 - September 6 will continue to build on last year’s momentum and growing enthusiasm.
