Native Pollinators

Colorado is home to a large and diverse community of native pollinators that consists of:

Butterfly on a flower
  • 946 species of native bees
    • A complete listing can be found on the University of Colorado Natural History Museum website. Due to the diversity of ecosystemsin our state, we have a very large number of bees compared to our eastern Great Plains neighbors.
