Today, K-5 STEAM teacher Susan Irwin, from Pioneer Elementary School in the Douglas County School District, was honored with the Agriculture in the Classroom’s Outstanding Teacher Award from the Colorado Foundation for Agriculture (CFA).
Producers who grow specialty crops can submit their applications for the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP), funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA). CDA is accepting applications for the grant program in the form of a concept proposal through February 24, 2023.
The annual application period is now open for the Specialty Crops Block Grant Program (SCBGP), funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA). Starting today, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) will begin accepting applications for the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP), a federal grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). This application period is in addition to the annual application period that opens in December. CDA has approximately $900,000.00 in stimulus funds to award through this application process.
The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is accepting applications for the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) through Monday, February 15, 2021. To assist applicants in submitting competitive applications, CDA will host an SCBGP Application Workshop on Wednesday, February 3 at 1 p.m.
