Colorado Food and Ag Processors and Manufacturers Invited to Apply for New Grant Opportunity

The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) received an allocation of $312,000 through the Governor’s Office to support Colorado agricultural processors and manufacturers. Applicants will be awarded funds through a competitive process administered by CDA’s Markets Division and the Colorado Agricultural Value-Added Development Board.

Broomfield, Colo. - The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA), in partnership with the Colorado Farm & Food Systems Respond & Rebuild Fund, is pleased to announce the awarding of $1,658,000 in grants to Colorado farmers, ranchers, food hubs and processors.

Broomfield, Colo. - The Colorado Department of Agriculture is making up to $1 million in grant funding available for Colorado farmers, ranchers, food hubs and processors to support them in adjusting to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the food supply chain.

2020 Reimagined State Fair Kicks Off with Free Virtual Events and Fair Food Drive-Thru

The 148th Annual Colorado State Fair officially opens Friday, August 28, 2020 with a wealth of new, virtual event offerings and a first-ever Drive-Thru Fair Food event.

In consideration of the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis, the Colorado State Fair Board of Authority voted early this summer to modify activities during the 2020 State Fair, with a priority and focus on supporting Colorado’s 4-H and FFA youth.
