January in Colorado is cold and dark, and we all try to find ways to stay warm and keep our businesses growing. 

This is the time of year to start fresh, by reviewing 2025 (both successes and challenges), and getting excited for the year ahead.

Here are some great business events and networking opportunities happening January:

January 6, 2026Southwest Economic Outlook Forum (Durango): On January 6, 2026, Fort Lewis College will host its 34th annual forum, providing insights into local, state, and national economic trends for business owners and non-profits. 

January 13, 2026:  Business Legislative Preview (Denver): The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce will host this event at the Denver Art Museum to discuss upcoming business policies, legislative priorities, and the general outlook for the year.

January 15, 2026:  Legislative Kickoff Reception (Statewide): The Colorado Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual event to bring together business leaders and elected officials to discuss top business priorities and the state's transitioning economy.

January 15. 2026:  2026 Economic Forecast (Greeley): BizWest will present an economic forecast at the University of Northern Colorado, offering perspectives and strategies for navigating the regional and national economy. 

January 21, 2026:  Business Lab: Stop Forcing It & Start Flowing (Loveland): A hands-on lab, to help small business owners identify and focus on energizing work while delegating other tasks.

January 15, 2026:  Colorado Food is Medicine Summit (Englewood): A key event for healthcare, food, and nutrition professionals.

January 24, 2026Denver Winter Whiskey Tasting Festival (Denver): A chance to sample various whiskeys.
