Farmer Veteran Focused QPR Suicide Gatekeeper Training | September 19, 1:30pm - 3:00pm | Fort Collins

Attend this in-person Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Gatekeeper Training with a focus on Farmers and Veterans and learn three steps to help prevent suicide. The event is free, please register here

Land Logic Training (virtual course) | September 26, 10:00am - 1:00pm

This training course is designed to equip licensed behavioral health providers with the practical skills and knowledge needed to provide culturally informed care to agricultural-based clients using the land. Training is free to licensed providers in WY, MT, UT, ND, SD, and CO -- please register here

Mesa County Community Summit | October 6-7 | Grand Junction

Now in its third year, the Mesa County Community Summit brings together caseworkers, caregivers, service providers and community members from across Western Colorado to build relationships, spark innovation and support better outcomes for children and families. 

Colorado Agricultural Behavioral Health Summit | November 13-14 | Monte Vista

Please join Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, the Colorado Department of Agriculture, and the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration for the first annual Agricultural Behavioral Health Care Summit. This is an in-person summit for organizations with an interest in promoting and providing behavioral health care to agricultural and rural communities.

Greeley Agricultural Workers Health & Resource Fair | December 7th, 9:00am - 2:00pm | Island Grove Events Center, Greeley 

The largest health and resource fair in Greeley, specifically focused on agricultural workers, with a strong emphasis on behavioral health. This event is a major effort to bring essential services and resources directly to the community that needs them most. These capacity-building grants range from $1,000-$10,000 and are distributed to support the following types of projects: strategic planning, convening, short-term staffing/contractors, and one-time operating costs. 

Funding & Other Opportunities

Boettcher Foundation Rural Catalyst Grants | Open from September 1 to September 30

The Rural Catalyst Grant Program strengthens the internal capacity of organizations as they work to achieve goals outlined in Boettcher’s Rural Leadership Collaborative meetings. These capacity-building grants range from $1,000-$10,000 and are distributed to support the following types of projects: strategic planning, convening, short-term staffing/contractors, and one-time operating costs. The grant program funds work in rural Colorado to move forward on a number of eligible issue areas, including affordable housing, childcare, community-to-community collaboration, mental health, rural placemaking, serving immigrant and/or refugee communities, rural water management, and other. 

Join the IHAC (Immigrant and Refugee Health Access Collaborative) | Meetings on the first Tuesday of each month 

A collaborative of over 100 active agencies that meets monthly—on the first Tuesday of each month—to discuss the challenges facing immigrant and refugee communities, particularly in the wake of the Big Beautiful Bill. It’s an excellent space for shared learning, resource alignment, and collective action on emerging issues.
