The Voices of the Field: Leadership Conference | June 8 | Delta

A powerful, one-day gathering dedicated to uplifting and empowering agricultural workers from every sector, including field labor, orchards, vineyards, meat processing, poultry, and forestry. Presented by the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Labor and Employment, and the Western Colorado Rural and Migrant Coalition, this event offers a full day of leadership development, resource sharing, and community building. Adapting Suicide Prevention Programs, Processes, and Practice in Rural Communities Webinar | June 17, 12pm - 1pm | Virtual

Join the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) for a webinar on the current landscape of suicidality in rural Colorado. You will learn how the OSP is working with rural communities to implement and adapt comprehensive suicide prevention approaches to their local contexts. We will provide an overview of rural suicide ideation, attempt, and fatality data, as well as disparities among specific rural subpopulations, key factors that contribute to these health inequities, and unique challenges for implementing public health strategies. We will also outline some of OSP’s current programs and strategies that strive to meet community needs and promote hope, healing, and wellbeing for those impacted by suicide. Funding Opportunities

LOR Foundation's 2025 Field Work Initiative | Application Window: May 12 to June 6

Field Work is the LOR Foundation's search for innovative answers to persistent problems that plague rural communities. This year, LOR is focusing on finding innovative solutions that improve mental health or social well-being in rural communities. Funding proposals can range from $1,000 up to $25,000 for a project. 

Larimer County Impact Fund Grant Program | Application Window: May 13 to June 13

The Impact Fund Grant Program is designed to invest behavioral health tax dollars in the form of annual grants to enrich community-based behavioral health services. We are grateful for and proud of the collective work of all grantees since the program’s start, and our community is better as a result. The Impact Fund has distributed grants totaling $14.7 million to 72 organizations serving people in Larimer County.
