CDA is looking for a farmer or rancher representative to serve on the Underground Damage Prevention (UDP) Safety Commission.
To assist in preventing damage to underground facilities, the UDP Safety Commission is charged with making recommendations regarding:
- Best practices and training
- Policies to enhance public safety
- Policies to improve efficiency and cost savings to the 811 program
- Reviewing complaints of alleged violations and ordering appropriate remedial action/penalties.
The UDP Safety Commission is made up of 15 people serving 3-year terms.
