NOTE: This includes commercial swine, pot bellied pigs, and other domestic pig breeds. Feral swine are prohibited from entry into Colorado.
- Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days prior to entry
- Official identification (individual or group identification) must be individually listed on the CVI.
- USDA Official identification required (840 RFID tag, silver “brite” tag, breed registration tattoo with breed registration papers accompanying CVI to the state office, microchip, or registered ear notch).
Exemption: Commercial swine moved into Colorado under a current Swine Production Health Plan may be exempt from CVI and Official Identification requirements.
