Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenberg issued the following statement on the passing of Terry Fankhauser, former Executive Vice President of the Colorado Cattlemen's Association.
"Terry Fankhauser was a force for Colorado agriculture. I am deeply saddened by his loss. Terry and I worked together for many years prior to my time as Commissioner and through all of the years since.
Terry was fierce yet kind; focused in his commitment to the people of Colorado agriculture and to his own family farm; and always someone I could call whether or not we agreed on what we had to talk about. That’s one thing I loved about working with Terry: he was honest, forthright, and never shied away from the tough stuff.
My heart is with Terry’s family and all those he knew and loved.”
