- Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days prior to entry.
- CVI exemption:
- Owner-hauler statement: goats shipped directly from the ranch of origin to an approved livestock market, federally approved terminal feedlot, or shipped directly to a federally inspected slaughter facility may move on an owner-hauler statement.
- Official Identification must be individually listed on the CVI if required in paragraph 2.
- Official Identifications must be individually listed on the CVI.
- CVI exemption:
- USDA Official Identification: (Scrapie ear tag, 840 RFID tag, or legible tattoo accompanied by registration papers.)
- All sexually intact goats of any age.
- Wethers over 18 months of age.
- Identification Exemption:
- Feeder kids under 18 months of age shipping directly to a federally inspected slaughter plant or to a federally approved terminal feedlot.
