Purple loosestrife, hairy willow-herb, yellow flag iris, and other aquatic and semi-aquatic invasive species are destructive noxious weeds that take over wetlands, impair the flow of water, destroy wildlife habitat, and degrade native plant communities. The Front Range Purple Loosestrife group was created in 1993 by Dave Weber, Retired CPW Biologist. This team is still working together today and makes great progress every year controlling purple loosestrife and other aquatic species. Come learn how you can help be part of the solution!
