The June Soil Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) meeting will take place at the Burlington Community Center.

The first part consists of field tours. The first tour begins at 9:00 am. The locations are:

  • Bonny State Wildlife Area Grazing - CACD Demonstration Grant Project
  • Herbicide control of CheatGrass in native grasslands
  • STAR Plus Field Tour

Following the Field Tours, SHAC members should meet at the Burlington Community Center at 12:00 pm for lunch. When you arrive, please enter through the South side and look for Meeting Room B. 

The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, at the Burlington Community Center.

Hemp Committee Seeks Nominations to Fill Four Seats

The Hemp Advisory Committee (HAC) at the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is seeking nominations to fill four seats representing various sectors of the hemp industry. The HAC advises the Commissioner of Agriculture by reviewing proposed rules and recommending new rules or changes to existing rules, including rules that establish CDA’s inspection program to determine THC concentration.
