There’s nothing quite as fun as fair food, and the Colorado State Fair has created a way to make sure visitors can get their annual taste of the fair this season--while staying safe and healthy--by holding a Drive-Thru Fair Food event for the first time in its 148-year history.

A blue-ribbon lineup of classic favorites are on the menu, including fried pickles, funnel cakes, jumbo corn dogs, fry bread, fresh squeezed lemonade, buckets of chili cheese fries and Pueblo’s famous Pass Key Italian sausage sandwiches. Menu items and vendors are subject to adjustments leading up to fairtime. The drive-thru will operate at the following times:

  • Friday, August 28 – 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 29 – 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 30 – 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Monday, August 31 – 5 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The August 31st evening event will feature the 2020 State Fair Market Animal Grand Champions.

Visitors must remain in vehicles the entire time and all vehicles will exit the grounds after picking up food to be enjoyed at home. There will be no parking or seating options. Face coverings should be worn when entering the fairgrounds and ordering food. For more detailed information, please visit the Drive-Thru Fair Food FAQs page.

The Drive-Thru Fair Food event is powered by Black Hills Energy.
