2020 Colorado State Fair Horse Shows to be Live-Streamed for the First Time

The Colorado State Fair is proud to host the 4-H State Championship Youth Horse Show and to provide live-streaming of this year’s events taking place over four days. Young riders ages 8-18 will compete in four distinct disciplines for premium money, class awards, and High Point Awards.

Additionally, riders will participate in a Parade of Colorado Counties and High School Senior Recognitions to close the 2020 horse show events.

The following events will be streamed live on the Colorado State Fair website:

Competitive Events
Gymkhana Horse Show - Friday, September 4 at 12 p.m.
Ranch Horse Show - Saturday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m.
Western Horse Show - Sunday, September 6 at 8:30 a.m.
English Horse Show - Monday, September 7 at 8:30 a.m.

Parade of Counties
Saturday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m
Riders from 25 Colorado Counties will parade through the arena with their county banners on Saturday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m.

2020 Graduated High School Senior Presentations
Saturday, Sept. 5th, following the Parade of Counties
Each participating graduated senior will be celebrated with recognition in the arena and an official photo.

The fairgrounds are not open to the public this season.Competitive events are operating in close coordination with local and state health officials with strict indoor and outdoor health protocols in place, including limited guests accompanying youth competitors.
