Recognize and honor the tradition, heritage, and future of Colorado’s ag industry.

Every year, Ag Week celebrates and showcases the best of Colorado agriculture to state lawmakers. This year, members of Colorado Agriculture Council and the staff of the Colorado Department of Agriculture will gather at the Colorado State Capitol to bring awareness and understanding of Colorado's ag industry to lawmakers.

Register here for the virtual event

During the panel, we will premiere “The Colorado Drought Story,” a short video about the impacts of drought on the Yampa River valley, followed by a panel discussion with Colorado's ag producers.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenberg, who will lead a discussion between Marsha Dagenbaugh (rancher and Yampa Basin tour participant), Simon Martinez (Farm Manager for Ute Mountain Ute Farm and member of Agriculture Commission), and Yuma County Commissioner Scott Weaver.

In addition to the virtual presentation, the Colorado Ag Council will hold a number of events at the Capitol to highlight the abundance and nutritional value of agricultural goods produced in Colorado as producers from across the state visit the Capitol. Events planned for the Capitol include producer panels and a meet & greet with CDA staff and Ag Council members.

If you're interested in participating in the events at the Capitol, please contact the Colorado Ag Council.
